Many, many thanks to Tom, his team and the mutiple helpers who delivered another fantastic Beamish experience. Two wheel fun at its best with Ian and Dave loading lots of great photos to enable us to relive the day. This year I got one of the motorcycle history questions correct (a big improvement on earlier years) I wonder how I knew that the first production motorcycle to fit a disc brake was a Lambretta?
Another excellent event yesterday as we've come to expect from the ace team of organisers. Perfect weather, and hills and tracks in prime condition. High House Lonnen again seemed to cause the most problems but even the normally innocuous Studdon Hairpins caught out a few. Many thanks to all concerned; you need change nothing because you already provide the BEST event of the year.
Many thanks to Tom and all the marshals and helpers(and the good folk who pushed me up High House when I made a right mess of it!) for yet another excellent day. I'd encouraged three newcomers from Essex section VMCC to come up this year and they were all impressed with the event and the organisation and will probably be back next year - as will I, God willing. Thank you all so very much.
Thanks again for a great, well organised & safe day, shame my Gilera had electrical problems ,broken wire spotted by eagle eyed youg man at end of day. See you in 364! Don
