Any news on the DVD mentioned in the newsletter covering the presentation evening? Any progress on last years' results going on this website?
No probs if there are technical issues, but it would be nice.
Sorry Dave, but my days of lugging a heavy rigid around are over I'm afraid and I'll be 'cheating' on the Greeves again! You have my undying admiration though!

2014 regs out today so plenty of time to prepare a PROPER bike for the event in September. Please bring your earliest possible - the elderly ride rigids so you can too!

Bob, Harry started me on my Beamish adventure in 1981 but we lost touch and I've often wondered what happened to him. Very sorry to hear he's no longer with us. I don't think I have any pics, but I know he rode a '31 BSA in 1981 (no.113) winning a bronze medal. He marshalled in '82 but doesn't appear on '83 or '84 lists. I then missed a few years until '92 but can't find him after that. Hope this is some help.

My late brother Harry Rodgers rode in the event during the 80's. Where can I obtain results sheets from previous runs, and has anyone any photographs of him at the event.

Hi Came across the site whilst looking for campsites, in durham /Cumbria, have owned quite a few of the bikes on the photos, will be at the next trials in in 2014 ,if I,m still here ,enjoyed looking at all the old photos of "proper bikes" which wouldn,t start leaked oil ,vibrated through the foot pedals, conked out when it rained, ah those were the days
