I have been riding the same Norton since 1969 (cost me £30) when Juliet and I set up the Edinburgh University Motorcycle Club. Other bikes have come and a few gone but the Norton is always there. It has been raced at East Fortune(winning £4!) and has also been over the Corrieyairack Pass. It has been fallen off or broken down over most of Britain. It is no stranger to the BTT but I have also competed on a WD B40, BSA A7 Star Twin, BSA A10 and most recently on the pictured B31, son Paul riding the Norton.
